# Account and team settings

Settings controls the shared studio setup behind projects, bookings, client documents, email, calendars, and team access.

Open **Settings** from the sidebar. The settings cards you see depend on your role and account permissions.

If a card is missing, your role does not include its required permission. Ask an account owner or team manager to review your role.

## Profile and company

Go to **Settings -> Account -> Profile & Company**.

Your profile belongs to you and includes your first name, last name, and sign-in email. Company settings are shared with the account and available to the owner. They include the company name, fixed account currency, default tax rate, and account timezone.

The account currency is chosen when the account is created and cannot be changed on this page. The timezone affects how dated and scheduled activity is interpreted, so review it before setting up calendar sync, reminders, or scheduled campaigns.

## Notifications

Go to **Settings -> Account -> Notifications** to choose which account events you want to hear about. Current choices include:

- New projects.
- Public form submissions.
- Questionnaire submissions.
- Signed contracts.
- New messages.
- New event bookings.
- Paid invoices.

Notification choices are personal to your account membership. Turning off your notification does not stop the underlying booking, payment, signature, submission, or another teammate's notifications.

## Tracking and marketing email

Account owners can use **Tracking & Pixels** to review Signal and supported tracking settings for public pages.

Team members with the email-campaign permission can use **Marketing** to set:

- Required marketing-footer address and website.
- Optional footer note.
- Sender name and email.
- Default reply-to email.
- Sending domain and its DNS records.

The sending domain must be saved and verified before it can be relied on for campaign delivery. Use **Check DNS** after adding the displayed records at your domain provider.

## Team members and invites

Go to **Settings -> Team** to review access for the selected account.

If your role allows it, you can:

- Invite a teammate by email and choose their role.
- Copy the latest invite link.
- Resend or revoke a pending invite.
- Change a member's role.
- Remove a member.
- Compare role permissions.

Roles control capabilities such as managing projects, contacts, events, tasks, analytics, forms, campaigns, contracts, automations, team access, billing, and files. Choose the narrowest role that lets the person do their work.

You cannot change your own role from the member row. Owners control owner-level access. If you belong to more than one account, confirm the selected account before changing a role or invite.

## Calendar integrations

Go to **Settings -> Integrations**.

### Google Calendar

1. Select **Connect Google** and finish Google's authorization flow.
2. Refresh the calendar list if needed.
3. Choose the target Google Calendar.
4. Choose whether to sync active projects, confirmed bookings, or both.
5. When first enabling a source, choose whether to sync existing items or only new ones when prompted.

Disconnecting stops the connection. Review the external calendar separately if you also need to remove events already written there.

### iCal feed

1. Select **Generate Feed URL**.
2. Copy the URL.
3. In Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, or another calendar app, use its **Subscribe from URL** flow.
4. Choose whether the feed includes active projects, confirmed bookings, or both.

The iCal URL is a live subscription, not a one-time import. **Rotate Token** disables the old URL immediately, so every calendar using it must subscribe again with the new link. **Disconnect Feed** disables the subscription.

## Billing and client payments

These two settings areas are separate:

- **Settings -> Billing** manages your LYGHTBOX subscription and payment method.
- **Settings -> Payments** manages your online payment connection and reminders for invoices you send to clients.

Billing also shows your available marketing emails and allowance reset date. Read [Billing and your plan](/docs/billing) for prices, trial details, and email allowances.

## Before changing shared settings

Check these three things:

1. You are in the correct studio account.
2. You understand whether the setting is personal, shared, or client-facing.
3. You know whether the change affects existing records or only new activity.
