# Analytics and Pulse

LYGHTBOX builds reporting from the client work you already track. Use **Dashboard** for a quick operating view and **Pulse** when you want to investigate projects, public pages, lead sources, mini sessions, or email campaigns.

Reporting is only as complete as the underlying records. Keep project dates, service types, amounts, lifecycle actions, and payment status current so comparisons remain useful.

## Dashboard: what needs attention now

Open **Dashboard** from the sidebar. The period selector changes the financial and project summary cards.

The dashboard can show:

- Revenue for the selected period and a comparison with the same period last year.
- Projects booked.
- Booked rate for project outcomes.
- Typical project value.
- A revenue trend chart.
- Items that need attention.
- Projects and bookings coming up in the next 30 days.

Treat **Needs Attention** as a working list, not a complete report. Open the related item to resolve the missing payment, contract, fulfillment, or other next step.

## Set a revenue goal

The goal card can show yearly or quarterly progress. If your role can manage analytics:

1. Open the goal card's create or edit action.
2. Enter the goal for the displayed year.
3. Save, then switch the card between annual and quarterly views as needed.

Goal progress uses tracked revenue for the selected period. It does not replace bookkeeping or tax reporting.

## Pulse overview

Open **Pulse** from the sidebar. Choose a reporting period, then use one of three tabs:

| Tab | Best for |
| ----- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Stats | Project outcomes, service/package performance, mini sessions, and lead sources. |
| Pages | Visits, funnels, sources, and conversions from public forms and booking pages. |
| Email | Delivery and engagement results across email campaigns. |

The available tabs and controls depend on your account permissions and the data recorded in the selected period.

## Stats: understand booked work

The **Stats** tab groups operational reporting into four areas.

### Project Sales

Project Sales follows projects created in the selected period and shows how that group progressed. Use it to compare booked, lost, and still-open work without mixing in older inquiries created outside the period.

### Project Performance

Project Performance separates:

- Projects booked during the period.
- Money collected and refunded during the period.
- Results by service or package.

This distinction matters: a project can be booked in one month and paid in another. Changing the service/package selector changes the comparison dimension, not the reporting period.

### Mini Sessions

Mini-session reporting can include:

- Confirmed bookings.
- Cancelled bookings.
- Waitlisted contacts.
- Capacity and fill rate.
- Amount collected from confirmed bookings.
- Total collected.

Use it to compare demand and capacity for mini-session events in the selected period.

### Lead Sources

Lead Sources summarizes the sources attached to project outcomes. Keep source information current on contacts and inquiry forms to make this section more complete.

## Pages: follow public interest to conversion

The **Pages** tab reports on supported LYGHTBOX public pages. Use the filters to narrow by period, surface, or a specific page.

The overview can show:

- Visits and unique visitors.
- Leads and lead conversion rate.
- Confirmed bookings and booking conversion rate.
- Source and campaign performance.
- Top public pages.
- A selected page's funnel.
- Recent attributed conversions and their value.

Source rows may include campaign parameters, referring sites, and first- or last-touch context. Select a top page to focus the page filter and, where supported, display its step-by-step funnel.

Attribution explains what LYGHTBOX could connect; it should not be read as a perfect claim that one page or link caused the booking.

## Email: compare campaign results

The **Email** tab can show:

- Campaigns sent in the period.
- Sent recipients.
- Estimated open rate.
- Click rate.
- Attributed conversions.

Open an individual campaign from **Email Campaigns** when you need its delivery details. Use Pulse Email for period-wide comparison.

## Tracking and pixels

Account owners can go to **Settings -> Account -> Tracking & Pixels** to review Signal and supported pixel settings.

Signal helps you see how visits to your public pages lead to inquiries, bookings, and payments. It works with LYGHTBOX pages and forms embedded on your website. If tracking is disabled or a browser blocks it, your reports may not show every visit or where each booking came from.

## When numbers look incomplete

Check these common causes:

1. Confirm the reporting period and account timezone.
2. Check whether the project or payment happened inside that period.
3. Confirm the project has the expected service, package, amount, and lifecycle status.
4. Confirm the contact or inquiry has a source when reviewing lead-source reporting.
5. Confirm public-page tracking is enabled when reviewing visits or attribution.
6. Allow newly recorded activity a short time to appear before changing source records solely to make a report match.
