Analytics and Pulse
Use Dashboard to see how your business is doing and what needs attention. Open Pulse for more detail on revenue, projects, mini sessions, contact sources, page visits, and email campaigns.
Reports use the information you track in LYGHTBOX. Keep project dates, services, prices, progress, and payments up to date.
Dashboard: what needs attention now
Open Dashboard from the sidebar and choose This Month, This Quarter, or This Year for the revenue and project totals.
The dashboard shows:
- Revenue for the selected period, with a chart compared with the same period last year.
- New Inquiries and Projects Booked.
- Booked Rate (Closed): the share of closed projects that were booked rather than lost.
- Needs Attention: active work that is overdue or blocked.
- Next 30 Days: upcoming payments, shoots, mini session days, and deliveries.
Open an item in Needs Attention to check its payment, contract, delivery, or other next step.
Set a revenue goal
If you can manage billing, choose Set [year] goal on the Dashboard and enter your Annual target. LYGHTBOX splits it into quarterly targets, and you can switch between yearly and quarterly progress. To change the goal later, choose the edit icon on the Revenue goal card.
Goal progress uses the revenue recorded for the displayed year or quarter.
Pulse reports
Open Pulse from the sidebar and choose a report. Pick a period such as Last 30 days or This quarter, or set your own dates.
| Report | Shows |

What you can see depends on your permissions and the activity recorded during the period.
Revenue
See Payments received, Refunds issued, and Net collected for the period, with a chart of net collected over time and a breakdown by payment type. Payments and refunds count on the day they were received or issued.
Projects
See projects created in the period: how many are New, Booked, and Complete, and what they’ve Collected to date. Switch between Services and Packages to compare them.
Mini sessions
See Bookings, Payments received, Refunds issued, and Net collected for the period, and a chart of when clients booked. The Sessions table compares each session’s results in the period with its Booked places, Capacity, and Collected to date.
Acquisition
See New contacts, Contacts with bookings, and Net collected to date for contacts created in the period. The Contact sources table groups them by how they found you, with each source’s Booking rate. Add sources to your contacts and inquiry forms to make this report more useful.
Traffic
Filter by page type (Service pages, Mini sessions, or Forms) or by a single page. The report shows Page views, Unique visitors, Leads, and Bookings confirmed, plus Traffic sources, Top pages, and Recent inquiries and bookings. Select a page to see the steps visitors took toward an inquiry or booking.
A source is where a visitor came from, such as Google, Instagram, or another website. Under each source, LYGHTBOX shows its channel, such as Organic search or Paid social. Links you tag for a campaign show under Campaign. Choose Show more to see more sources.
Percentages count each visitor once, and a visitor can come from more than one source, so adding up rows won’t always match the totals. Sources show where inquiries and bookings came from, but can’t prove that a page or campaign caused them.
The Email report includes campaigns that started sending during the period, and their results include all activity through today. It shows Emails sent, Estimated open rate, Recorded click rate, and Client actions, such as submitted forms and confirmed bookings. Choose Show more campaigns for more rows.
Open a campaign from Campaigns for its delivery details.
Tracking and pixels
Account owners can go to Settings → Account → Tracking & pixels to review Signal and supported pixel settings.
Signal helps you see how visits to your public pages lead to inquiries, bookings, and payments. It works with LYGHTBOX pages and forms embedded on your website. If tracking is disabled or a browser blocks it, your reports may not show every visit or where each booking came from.
When numbers look incomplete
Check these common causes:
- Confirm the reporting period and account timezone.
- Check whether the project or payment happened inside that period.
- Check the project’s service, package, amount, and progress.
- Check that contacts have a source when reviewing Acquisition.
- Check that tracking is enabled when reviewing visits or where bookings came from.
- Use Show more for traffic sources or Show more campaigns in the Email report to see rows beyond the first page.
- If a report doesn’t load, refresh the page and try again.
