Billing and your plan

LYGHTBOX has one plan with two payment options. Everyone who signs up during our early launch gets Founder pricing and keeps that price for life. The tools and email allowance are the same as the regular plan.

Start your subscription

Verify your email first, then enter your studio and billing details and choose monthly or yearly billing. Review the amount due today and the renewal price. Complete the payment step if one is shown.

The 14-day trial is available with monthly billing only. No card is required to start; add a payment method before your trial ends to continue. You can see your trial end date in Settings → Billing.

Marketing email allowance

The paid plan includes 2,000 marketing emails each month, whether you pay monthly or yearly. Sending one campaign to 100 recipients uses 100 emails.

The trial has a separate, one-time allowance of 250 marketing emails. When you reach it, sending pauses and resumes when your paid plan begins.

Sending also pauses when you reach your monthly allowance. Unused emails, including trial emails, do not carry over. If you reach your paid allowance, choose a larger add-on if available or wait for the reset date.

Open Settings → Billing to check your remaining emails and reset date before sending a large campaign. Emails already being sent count toward your limit. See Campaigns and audiences for sending guidance.

Add more marketing emails

On an active paid plan, use Monthly email add-on in Billing to add 2,000, 5,000, or 10,000 emails per month. The add-on renews with your plan. Review its price, the amount due now, and when the change starts before confirming.

  • Add more emails: pay for the upgrade now. Your larger allowance becomes available once the payment and upgrade are confirmed.
  • Reduce or remove the add-on: the change starts at your next plan renewal. Your current allowance remains available until then.

If you pay yearly, reducing or removing an add-on starts at your yearly renewal, even though your email allowance resets monthly.

Wait for a pending change to finish before choosing another. You cannot change add-ons during the trial or while a plan payment needs attention.

Manage payments and your plan

Open Settings → Billing, then select Manage billing to review payments or change your plan. Check the price and start date shown before confirming a change.

If Billing is missing, ask the account owner to review your access. If a payment needs attention, use Add payment method or Update payment method as shown. After completing payment, select Check payment status to refresh the result.

Your LYGHTBOX subscription is separate from payments your clients make to you. To accept online payments from clients, use Settings → Payments. Payment reminders for client invoices are in Settings → Reminders.

Your plan includes 10 GB of gallery storage for the photos you keep across all your galleries, including during your trial. Open Settings → Billing to see how much you’re using. When your storage is full, new uploads stop until you delete photos you no longer need or add more storage.

Add more storage

On an active paid plan, use Gallery storage in Billing to add 100 GB, 500 GB, or 1 TB on top of the 10 GB included. The add-on renews with your plan. Review its price, the amount due now, and when the change starts before confirming.

  • Add more storage: pay for the upgrade now. Your extra storage becomes available once the payment and upgrade are confirmed.
  • Reduce or remove the add-on: the price changes at your next plan renewal, but new uploads must fit in the smaller storage right away. You can choose a smaller option only if your photos already fit in it.

Wait for a pending change to finish before choosing another, including a change to your email add-on. You cannot add storage during the trial or while a plan payment needs attention.

Create and share client galleries. Add JPEG photos in your browser or use the LYGHTBOX Uploader on an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 13 or later. If you use Lightroom Classic, install the Lightroom plugin alongside the uploader to publish photos from your catalog.
